Pebbles from the Spanish Garage Rock Era!

All the way from Spain, here's Jose K!  Jose says that he wants to "contribute to the greatness of this blog, in these difficult times" (according to Google Translate).  Today he is sharing what he calls the Spanish equivalent of the "Pebbles" series.

The series covers the years 1964 through 1973, and each of the five volumes is dedicated to a particular style.  It's a carefully curated bootleg selection of rare vinyl records made in Spain during those years, that are sought out by collectors.  Google translates "cosecha" as "harvest".

The titles of the volumes aren't easy to translate, but Wikipedia says that yé-yé music (yeah yeah) was a Beatles-influenced movement popular in France, Spain and Italy, with rock songs sung in the native languages of those countries.  The style gradually lost popularity as the blues revival and psychedelic rock captured listeners' attention, just as it did in Britain and the States.  Volume 3 features "rough" yé-yé songs, and Volumes 4 and 5 focus on the later years of the original Spanish garage rock era.

Barry & the Remains

I've posted this album (the lone effort by Barry & the Remains, noted for "Don't Look Back", one of the "Nuggets" singles of them all), but had no idea it existed in this expanded edition with TEN bonus tracks.......don't know how much you know about them other than maybe "Don't Look Back", they opened for the Beatles at one point and apparently were an absolute legendary act in Boston, if you read about their live shows, it sounds like the stuff of legend.....to be totally honest, this album doesn't really reveal a whole lot of that, other than "Don't Look Back", however, it isn't "bad" and certainly this amount of bonus material makes it worth our while.

Fire Escape

Strange album here. Fire Escape were apparently a bunch of session musicians assembled by Kim Fowley and Michael Lloyd, to cover a batch of 1960's standards (title track, "96 Tears", more).....the thing here is we are uncertain as to whom the performers were on this one, at all.... it is rumored that Fowley performed, also Sky Saxon of the Seeds and some others, but basically it's been shrouded in mystery. However, listen to this, it's actually quite a find selection of good cover versions of good songs of the era.

To the best of my knowledge, there was never again a recording credited to (this version, at least) of Fire Escape.

Trust me on this one, a historical curiosity that is ALSO worth a couple of listens, these are obviously songs that translate well to cover versions.

The Trashmen

Perhaps the ultimate one-hit wonder, this is certainly more of a curiosity than anything else..... surf music from
Minnesota? Well, one never knows...... I thought the Wikipedia blurb on the history of the song was fairly interesting, so let's just copy/paste that.

The Rivingtons followed up their 1962 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" with the similar "The Bird's the Word" in 1963. The Trashmen had not heard this version but saw a band called The Sorensen Brothers playing it.^[2] They decided to play the song that night at their own gig. During this first performance, drummer and vocalist Steve Wahrer stopped playing and ad-libbed the "Surfin' Bird" middle section.^[2] Despite not knowing "The Bird's the Word" was a Rivingtons song, the similarity to "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" was obvious and The Trashmen added the chorus to the end of their new track.

A local disc jockey, Bill Diehl, was at the gig and convinced the band to record the track.^[2] It was recorded at Kay Bank Studios in Minneapolis. Diehl entered it into a local battle of the bands competition and it won. It was then sent to a battle of the bands competition in Chicago where it also won.^[2] This led to the group being signed to Garrett Records with the single being quickly released. It reportedly sold 30,000 copies in its first weekend^[2] before going on to national success, reaching #4 on the BillboardHot 100. Wahrer was originally credited as the song's writer, but that was changed to the Rivingtons (Al Frazier, Carl White, Sonny Harris, and Turner Wilson Jr.) after the group successfully sued The Trashmen for plagiarism. There is apparently no truth to the urban legend which circulated in the late 1960s that the song had been written by Leonard Bernstein to show his disdain for rock'n'roll by proving that any song could become a hit.

Kenny and the Kasuals

Here are a couple of mid 60's gems from Kenny & the Kasuals, best known, of course, for their stunning "Journey to Tyme".... the two albums presented here, "Teen Dreams" and "Nothing Better to Do", while little information exists on them (other than the obvious: they were part of the burgeoning Texas garage/psych scene in the mid 60's), do present a few good ones...... definitely worth a listen, if just for "Journey to Tyme", but you'll find other goodies here if you search for em. A couple tracks appear on both discs, sorry, nothing I can do about that one, but these are solid lesser know 60's garage rock, highly recommended.

Paint It Black Part 2

No, not another covers project, even I wouldn't do THAT to you.....this comes from Mojo Magazine, their giveaway CD from the current issue......they've had some good ones, but this one is fantastic, with some of the "darker" sounds of the mid 60's, garage-punk scene......a lot of this stuff is rarely comped, including one of my personal very faves, The Bonniwell Music Machine.......but also Red Crayola, The Rationals, Crazy World of Arthur Brown.......all tremendous stuff, along with stuff from the Seeds, the Yardbirds, and more......really not a dog in the bunch to be honest, so enjoy, and thanks to John N for this submission.....I know I have a bunch of other "Mojo Presents" discs around here somewhere, and I really don't think I've ever done a post on them, maybe soon, just thinking aloud, but this really is tremendous, listened to it all today and you will not be a bit disappointed, trust me.

A Gift for my friend Brian, The Litter!

My main man Brian, as is his custom, recently presented three more slabs o brilliance, I base this off the fact
that he used a Litter cover, and was unfamilar with the,......hey man, there's a LOT of stuff out there, always has been, and to hip someone to something good, with which they were unfamiliar previously, THAT IS WHY we do this........it's a great feeling, back in MY day (1970's) that great feeling came from hour upon hour of going through crates of used LP's in some book store or something.......once in a while though......."Forever Changes" for $1?......"Kick Out the Jams" for $2? and, say, "Distortions", by the Litter, for maybe a buck I think? Those were thrilling moments, back then, and the thrilling moments come now via Internet, which as I've said before, should we all participate, and do it CORRECTLY, each and everyone of us SHOULD have his/her PERFECT music collection. And what could possibly be better?

The Litter......OK, the Litter, a band I've always loved........born in Minneapolis in the mid-60's .....they were a fab punk/psych/garage band, known mostly for thier classic single "Action Woman", a fave of mine,but there is a LOT more here. The debut "Distortions" is a snarling masterpiece,  although (as was kind of the MO in that era) the album is stacked with a ton of covers.....sometimes this worked out, other times, it just seemed like an effort to fill out the album.......interesting stuff though, and no one should be without "Action Woman"!

Thier second disc, "$100 Fine", is a better overall effort, nothing as stunning as "Action Woman", but a great disc of that late 60's/early 70's unmatchable hard-psych scene.......

By the way, The Litter were guitarist singer Dan Rinaldi (passed away in 2015), Bassist/synth man Jim Kane, drummer Tom Murray,lead guitarist Bill Strandlof......somewhat underappreciated I believe, both of these albums are wonderful period pieces (and you know, as ALWAYS, I mean this as a total compliment)......"$100 Fine" appears in an expanded version with lots of extra goodies, should let you see pretty much the entire picture........

So this is for Brian, AND for the rest of ya......if a band's name comes into your sightlines, and you are not familiar, just ASK the team here, likely ONE of us can find something to get you hooked up/educated. Try these out....I know Brian will like them (at least i think he will), but if there are any otherfans of 60's psych/hard garage punk, who are not familiar with the Litter, I recommend this to you, even MORE than highly!

The Koala

I have the Hunter S Thompson post (part 2) ready to go, but the ever-hard working Brian has some MORE
(!) material to add to it, so we'll hold off until tomorrow before posting that one (it's been one of my favorite posts ever, and we want to make it as good and comprehensive as we possibly can.....so, anyway, it's been maybe a while since I posted up one of those hard-psych obscurities that are so much my passion, and this is a good one, too, if you are unfamiliar, I HIGHLY recommend this one

The Koala released but this one album, yet ANOTHER album from that era which was so far ahead of its time that it was ignored, and 40-plus years later it sounds like a lost classic (which it is).....The Koala were singer Jose Mala, guitarist Louis Cane, guitarist Joe Guido, bassist  Anthony Wesley, and drummer Joe Alexander. They hailed from New York, and put out this one KILLER slab in 1968. (FYI Mala would later end up making an appearance with the Joe Perry Project, kind of a semi-personal fave of mine).

Take all the good elements of the best of music of that era and throw them in a blender.......take primitive Stones/Who rythms, snarling vocals ala maybe Syndicate of Sound, all held together with some of the nastiest fuzz guitar this side of the Seeds.......the result is this one, imo one that anyone who shares my particular love of this kind of thing should consider essential.

"Poppa Duke Tyler", borrows its subject matter, obviously, from the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby", and it is a fuzzed-up A-1 raver......"Look At the Way She Comes" is a great one, "Strange Feelings" is a frantic raved up punk scream, with a surprise insert of some Eastern/Indian/raga, yet another hallmark of so much of the great psych of this era.......what can I say? I have loved this album since the first time I heard it, which was likely 10 years after it came out...I think I used to have a vinyl copy, but at least I cannot find the CD rip of it, so I'll borrow an MP3 version of it........

THIS is one you don't want to miss.....If you, like me, LLLLLOOOOVVVEEEE the obscure hard psych/punk of thte late 60's/early 70's, (stuff like Dark, Stray Dog, BF Trike, Sir Lord Baltimore, Dust,  and on and on), this is one you don't want to ever be without........crank this one up loud, it's fantastic!

Forgot about the Purple Helmets, which an Anonymous reader sent me a link for, actually I already had a couple of em..... A Stranglers side-project, The Purple Helmets is an ad hoc band, playing 1960's R and B numbers. The recording line-up was: Jean-Jacques Burnel, Dave Greenfield, John Ellis, Alex Gifford (a member of the Stranglers horn-section) and Manny Elias (drummer with Tears For Fears). The band was ostensibly put together (from an earlier incarnation) so that JJ and Dave could do some gigging between Stranglers projects. There MAY be more out there, but what I have are these two albums, "Ride Again" (1988) and "Rise Again" (1989).... for my dough "Ride" is the better effort, as we get fab covers of SO many great songs, "Over Under Sideways Down", "Tobacco Road", "Wooly Bully"...... not just carbon-cover copies either, reminds me of Bowie's "Pinups" project to a point. "Rise" is good too, though it suffers from a bit lesser of selection, highlights being maybe "Rosalyn", "She's Not There", "Oh Pretty Woman" and at least a few more.... track lists if you're interested:

Baby Woodrose

After a few days rest (from WHAT?) of allowing other people to supply the blog with material, (and
infinite thanks to Dave Sez, Apanta Bapanta, and Ruben Chandler) I resume today, with a damn good one no less.... the (I think) complete album works of fuzzed-out psychedelic garage rockers from Copenhagen Denmark,they have brilliantly blended 60's garage-fuzz with modern day, Datsuns' like fury. Great stuff abounds here, lets see what we have.

They released some domestic material, singles/EP's which I don't have and don't know if it is collected on some of the albums listed here, if there is a "rarities" set floating around, I don't know about it and would like to check it out.

So, Copenhagen, 2000, out comes a thrilling album by a band who had struck with a couple of singles-"Baby Woodrose Blows Your Mind" was one of the top releases of that year, no cover material, but you'd never guess it as the tunes sound like they were stripped off of some long-lost "Nuggets" disc......"Right to Get High", "Baby Blows Your Mind", "What a Burn!", "Spinning Wheels of Fire" meld the elements of 60's hard fuzz and 00's stoner rock to damn near perfection....the album was recorded entirely by Uffe Lorenzen, using the name Lorenzo Woodrose......after the album struck, he added on Fuzz Daddy as drummer and The Moody Guru as bassist......I don't make em up.....
"Money For Soul", then was released in 2003 and was quite well recieved, argueably thier best disc, more textured and creative than the debut....."Honeydripper", "Hippie Chick", "Pouring Water....a better disc than the debut thanks to the power-trio format, I think, it's a really good one, I think most fans of the type of hard rock I enjoy (ya should know by NOW) would like to hear.

To capitailze on their sudden success, they released "Live at Gutter Island", later the same year....it's a short set, less than 30 minutes, and recaps a good number of the tunes from "Money For Soul".....it's good, it would be better as a full-length in my opinion.

Their next release, "Dropout!", was a brilliant one, one similar to (don't laugh) Guns N Roses "The Spaghetti Incident?" (which WAS a great IDEA, just not a great album), in which the band tributes an album full of singles which influenced their sound....it's not OBVIOUS material in the least either.....there is an Elevators track, but not a real well known onw ("I Don't Ever Want to Come Down"), tracks from Love, Lollipop Shoppe, The Saints, The Stooges, and more, smartly avoiding obvious selections and going for tunes tshat could have been written to order.....a favorite of mine, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band's "The Child of a Few Hours Is Burning to Death" gets an interesting treatment. Recommended.

They released another disc of originals, "Love Comes Down", in 2006, with a bit more of a modern, beefed up sound, I like it a great deal, actually, it was a limited release from what I can tell.... don't really know why, it smokes and reminds me a good bit of Monster Magnet..... that title track, "Christine", "Found My Way Out", and the psyched-out "Growing Younger" highlight this one, along with the fine cover depicting the ingestion of blotter acid!

Lorenzo Woodrose put the band on hiatus as he worked with his various side projects and with other bands, the next time he put together a unit using the "Baby Woodrose" monicker, Moody Guru and Fuzz Daddy were gone, and were replaces with drummer Hans Beck, bassist Kare Joenson, and second guitarist/vocalist Mads Saaby.....they released 2007's "Chasing Rainbows" with this lineup. While I prefer thet stuff done by the trio, the soundon this one veers toward the dark psychedelia whose influence had always shown through...., a logical progression, if you will, but you may want to think of this as a seperate band than, say, the one who released "Money For Soul" or whatever....."In Your Life" and "Dark Twin" stand out for me,the whole album DOES have a nice, creepy psychedelic vibe to it

For thier next release, the new unit popped out "baby Woodrose", 2009, a seeming return to the garage rock/fuzz stuff that had been thier earlier forte, say of "Money For Soul" or "Dropout!".....as I said earlier, I LOVED "money For Soul", this is not even half as good, but it does give a return to that garage sound, away from the druggy/psych stuff on "Chasing Rainbows"......however, it's NOT a "bad" album, in my book, as, actually, they haven't released a REAL clunker.

Because the final disc I have here is "Mindblowing Seeds and Disconnected Flowers", which is a fine set of the original 4 track demos that eventually would become "Baby Blows Your Mind".... interesting in its own way, music has come full circle, I guess, for Lorenzo Woodrose, a solo record, a trip format, and edging back towards solo-type work with band backup, this most recent release (that I know of) is an interesting take on the early days when it was just him.......

A good band, underappreciated......really have not made a bad one, they are all interesting, and all different, and you should not deprive yourself of any of these.....in my opinion only, one you are gonna love if you are unfamiliar!

Because, of course, traditional Christmas music not only sucks ass, the repetitive NON STOP mind-numbingness of it turns it from mindless irritant to bullet-to-the-temple material....even the "respectable" parties are not immune to my wrath when it comes to thi particular subject....Springsteen's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town?" Gag. The Pretenders "2000 Miles" at least a partial gag.....and WORST OF ALL IS JOHN FUCKING LENNON'S "SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS" I would prefer to drink a gallon of house paint to EVER hearing that thing again......uuuuughhhh.

So, anyway.....I have a few albums here to offer some relief, I have probably posted some/all of them before, but 90% of you won't remember my doing so.....I thought about making a "Depressing Christmas" compilation, didn't get around to it, but it could include stuff like the Who's "Tommy Doesn't Know What Day It Is", Axl Rose's mangling of "White Christmas" (ever heard it?), Ben Folds Five's "Brick" (TECHNICALLY not about Christmas as it takes place the day AFTER Christmas, but is one of the most depressing songs ever written and is about taking his girlfriend to get an abortion),  and of course Elliott Smith's immortal "King's Crossing" which IS THE most depressing song ever written, witness, at least to me, the fact that he committed suicide shortly afterwards ("It's Christmas time, and the needle's on the tree, a skinny Santa is bringing something to me, his voice is overwhelming, and his speech is slurred, and I only understand every other word")....anyways I never got around to making that Ativan-inducing collection, and I did dig out these goodies, along with the WAY COOL "Power Pop Christmas" set from the other day (and if you didn't check it out you are doing yourself a disservice if you didn't download blog friend Tiltingsud's very great and I assume rare two-part Bob Dylan Christmas radio show, it is excellent and you SHOULD hear it!

So what have I got for you on this Christmas Eve? Well, a few things.....I have a pair of comps, one titled "A Punk Rock Christmas", the other titled "A Santa Cause: It's a Punk Rock Christmas".....these two sets are VERY similar, and I am going to do something I rarely do.....I am going to reprogram this, making it a two disc set without repetition...in general, I like for you to hear things as they were intended to be heard at the time of release, but I think in this case it was most likely issued and updated the following year, or something like that (if it is something else, don't correct me because I don't care, just appreciate the EXTRA WORK your uncle has done for ya here, so you get the WHOLE ENTIRE COMPLETE MASTERWORK! And there are some good uns on here.....Something Corporate, Blink 182, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Descendents, as well as lesser knowns as Punchline, Cousin Oliver, The Humpers, and LOTS LOTS MORE, in fact, so much more, that, as I said before, I need to make it into a pair of discs.....APPRECIATE the fucking work I do damnit!

Next up is a simple set entitled only "Merry Christmas", a short (10 track) collection of tracks from The Sonics, The Wailers, and The Galaxies. I like this one probably better than any, other than maybe the power pop set of the other day, dunno why really, I assume it's rare, and I really enjoyed it when listening to it today.

"Midnight Christmas Mess Again", part of a series of which I unfortunately do not have the others, is a some fairly unknown/obscure garage-punk type bands, Cheepskates, Vipers, Psycho Daisies, Dementia 13 check in with some sounds-o-the season, listened to some of this one today and enjoyed it quite a bit as well......

Not EXACTLY a Christmas album, I thought I'd put up the fairly obscure "Holy Fuzz Compilation" as well, while not "Christmas" stuff per se, it DOES come from some Christian metal bands of the 1970's-80's that at least I've never heard of, figured Christmas/Christianity, it's all the same hog trough, right?

And, now, get this, Skippy.....I was gonna quit here, but decided to see if there was anything of interest on the Bay, most of it is the usual swill, but a couple DID pique my interest, so I grabbed em for all of us: First, I found "Indie Rock Christmas Playlist", and I kind of wish I hadn't because it is ONE HUNDRED fucking tracks, but, I DO LOVE YOU GUYS, and I am going to split it into five discs, and I hope some of you download and tell me how great I am for giving you this gift and etc....The Ravonettes (whom you know I LOVE), Dropkick Murphys, The Darkness, The Killers, Bad Religion, and enough legit acts here that I think I should post it. Merry Christmas, minions, this is a bit of work, and this proves how much I love my massive audience.....as usual, ALL i ask in return is if you have anything cool, anything rare, anything you think is of interest, PLEASE share it..not just with ME, but with the other good folks who make this blog what I want it to be....a place for music lovers to SHARE, SHARE, SHARE.....I won't give speech again just yet, but, simply, that is what it is all about.

"Christmas Rock" overlaps the "Punk Rock" set a bit, but it includes some other stuff too, including
Lemmy kilmister, Dandy Warhols, Mew, No Doubt and some others, so basically I deem it worthy of inclusion here as well.....

Sometimes I wonder why I spend so much time on this fucking blog.....my wonderful wife questions it as times as well...but the reason is, I know what a joy it is to FINALLY find that impossible-to-get bootleg, it's exhilarating to say the least.....and if I've ever provided that feeling for EVEN ONE of you, it is worth it.......just please, please please, EVERYONE, continue to share all this great music with the rest of us, it makes the world such a MUCH better place.....

The rest of the oddly numbered (but great) Fuzzface Series

So, did ya enjoy the first half of the series? ? Don't see how ya couldn't... and it's just a warm up for today!  Now, listen carefully, my children... we are up to Volume 8, which consists of NINE discs, ALL titled "Zarius Knights of Fuzzface"... NO IDEA, don't ask me, but there's some fucking great garage rock on these discs. Then, finally, we will end up with the single disc Volume 9 ("Revival Garage Internacional").... the numbering system is as bizarre as bizarre can be, but it is so very easy to forgive. Trust me. Again, please discuss, leave comments, I'm "feeling" this stuff right now, and you know how I can get (like when I was feeling "psych" or "punk" and I have just TONS of this kinda stuff too.....

So, here we are... Volume 8 disc 1.... I don't think the discs are "themed" especially, just one blast after another of three-chord guitar, farfisa organ and screaming.... The Chesterfield Kings blast "Baby Doll" out of the park on this one, but don't forget The (much underappreciated, IMO) Brood with the fabulous "Writin on the Wall", The Lyres , The Cynics, whom we all know are great.... not so well known would be, say, Captain Future & the Zapguns, The Bogeymen,  Crimson Shadows, and, like some of yesterday's stuff, there are four tracks referred to simply as "Bonus Track", no title or artist given. For some reason, I absolutely LOVE that... don't ask me why.

More "Bonus Tracks" on disc 2, but how about this lineup: Baby Woodrose, The Fuzztones, Yard
Trauma, The Nomads, and the Gruesomes, mixed in amongst 1-2-5, Outta Place, Queen Hornets... this set brilliantly melds together "greats" of the genre with unknown stuff, these comps work as "radio programming" the way great comps do.

Disc 3 has yet more mystery "bonus tracks", along with certifiable greats such as the Mummies ("House on the Hill", 1313 Mockingbird Lane, The Ramblers, along with Falling Spikes, Tony Borlotti E I Suoi Flauers, Manganzoides, and LOTS more. Moving on, Disc 4  (yep, more "bonus tracks"), features the fab Launderettes, Marry Me Mary, Fleshtones, and the Stomachmouths, stacked alongside The Nuthins, Teddy Boys From the  Crypt, Agenetes Secretos... there are VERY few acts repeated ad infinitum (another pitfall that this comp avoids), each disc is, really, consistently brilliant, listenable, and you just sit there in amazement at the wonderful sloppy amateurism of these bands that simply rock out, I would bet you a million bucks that not ONE band on this entire comp would actually COMPLAIN about being featured here so MORE PEOPLE CAN HEAR THEM, like, you know, some bands might do (Hi, Green Day, Corrosion of Conformity, Bratmobile, Sublime)...... the world is divided into two camps... one that "gets it".... one that "doesn't"

Plenty-a great shit on disc 5 as well, Headcoatees, The Pandoras, The Tell-Tale Hearts, and the Kartoons, as well as lesser-known greats Optic Nerve, Lost Marbles, Los Impossibles, and Get Lost. How about Disc 6? Sorry, no let down there either, Fuzztones ("The People In Me"), Thanes, Chesterfield Kings, Lyres.... all have been featured earlier, but by no means over-exposed, as well as the wonderfully named Tuna Tacos, Muck and the Mires, Slow Slushy Boys, Lust-O-Rama.....the great thing about primitive garage rock is we will (literally) NEVER run out of it, as long as we have electric guitars, marijuana, beer, and garages, and people who still make music for FUN rather than false dreams of fame.

Disc 7 features a track from the fantastic Miracle Workers, Kek 66, the Crawdaddys ripping of "Oh Baby Doll", the legendary Monks ("Hang Up"), .. .for what more could you ask? Well, how about Cornflake Zoo, The Woody Peakers, and Fuad & the Fuzztones... certainly you have the idea by now... this is a set that should be in every household on the planet, provided the occupants actually want to have fun........

Well, we're up to Disc 8 of Volume 8 now, gotta love some Wylde Mammoths, Green Telescopes (highly underappreciated), Los Peyotes, and Mondo Topless (great moniker at the very least)... The Preachers mangle "Little Re Book", Sick Rose skewer "99th Floor", we get the Down N Outs, Smooth Filthy, and a great time is had by all........

We finally wrap up Volume 8 with Disc 9, more welcome stuff from the Brood, Miracle Workers,

Cynics, Fuzztones, Tell-Tale Hearts, the Thanes, the Pandoras.... obviously trying to fit in everything he wanted before wrapping up the series... closing it up is Surfin' Lungs "Munsters Theme"

OK, so that is Volume 8... there is one more disc, Volume 9.... WHY? it is not just one more disc of Volume 8 I will never know, deliberately confusing is all I can think of as certainly the Chesterfield Kings, Thanes, Fuzztones, and frankly pretty much everyone on the disc is making  repeat appearance... ahhhh well... this is a great set,  a wonderful "internet only" set that, as always, I consider a "labor of love" and compiled with compassion and the interest that only a true music LOVER can muster.

Fuzzface's blog is long gone, done't know if he got shut down or if he just tired of it.... but he did a great job with this set, I'll NEVER understand his numbering system, but there ya go......along with Katrakyla (tomorrow perhaps) one of the greatest ever internet compilers of modern-day retro garage rock..... I've got more for you. Lots more. Let's hear some opinions on this stuff. Please?

PS If you are getting as bored with "Scott Andridge" as I am, please do me a favor and tell him so... I thought he might be "fun", like tormenting a small child or something, but he is JUST SO STUPID there is no talking to him and the entertainment value is compromised. I mean, is there ANYONE other than him that does not understand that I LOVE the bands I profile on here, including the Seeds... OR anyone who can't grasp that about 95% of the Seeds charm was in their sloppy amateurishness? Seemed like easy concepts, but this guy simply DOES NOT SEEM TO GET IT. I know I have many friends on the blog,maybe one of you can explain these facts to him, and also advise him that there are LOTS of other blogs (it would seem he doesn't care much for this one) that he could frequent and enjoy... I simply  cannot seem to get the words through his skull.... one of my amigos out there, PLEASE try and explain it to him so we can concentrate on what matters, which to me is providing and sharing rare/obscure music, and to him, for some reason, seems to be finding out the dimensions of my genitalia.......it does, indeed, take ALL kinds to make up a world!
