Pauline Murray and the Invisible Girls

Here's a semi-rarity of the post-punk/goth/synth era, ca. 1980......this is a pretty good one. Pauline Murray, of course, was the vocalist from the (at the time) recently disbanded Penetration, and The Invisible Girls were the backing band of  John Cooper Clarke. This was the only album on which they were fronted by Murray, although if I remember correctly there may have been a couple of singles.Something of a Siouxsie and the Banshees vibe, "Screaming in the Dark", "Dream Sequence I", "Mr X", and "Searching For Heaven" havae a nice, creepy, gloomy vibe to them, and the rest of the album is quite good as well......take a shot on this one, if you don't remember it, a solid 4-star period piece that so many seem to have forgotten about....
